Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Hi Grumpy...

I really like the green and cream ones, but that's about a three or four thousand dollar
premium for the number on the steering head  coolsmiley

I thought I read some where that the 1st 50 were black, then they tossed in a bumble bee color for some author who worked for a motor rag.     Then they produced a few gree/cream's like mine and then tossed out a couple more combo's and then went into 1998 production.

I don't remember the vin on mine but it is low...........

Actually, I think I heard that from a party in a white coat at one of the Maryville factory tours for InZane 1, 2, or 3.

That would be the third TOURER produced, NOT the third VAlkyrie.  The std, the tourer, and the IS ALL started each year at #1.  You could purchase the same year, same number, of all three.

Exactly, given that color and mfg date, it would have been the 3rd 49-state Tourer built. The Calif Tourers started production in 10/96. The standards were built first, starting in 4/96 (both 49-state and Calif versions).  From my notes, the bike above used to be owned  (or maybe still is) by Joe Joyak in Georgia. He bought it from a Honda employee.  It didn't get out of the factory until 8/98 and he bought it in 9/99.
