I have a ticking noise but it is not the pair vavle because I did the complete desmog.  Sounds like when a spark wire is loose but they are tight.  Any thoughts?

search for air leaks....loose hose clamps on the intake runners, cracked vacuum lines or caps, and header nuts.

Where is the noise coming from ??  Trying to locate it would help.. Its generally a leaky exhaust gasket which can be a real PITA at times to keep from leaking.. That said,, sometimes these monsters will just tick,, its one of lifes little wonderments.. Glenn seems to think its the oil pump chain,, could very well be correct..
