I saw a tankbib years ago that covered the gascap on an Interstate. anybody know where to find one? The glare from the chrome is bad on sunny days.

Make sure what you buy is for the Interstate. The one on the link is for Tourer, and the tanks are different in size.

I bought one last year due to the same issue you listed.  I love it!!  No glare and even though I did not initially want the pouch, it sure comes in handy and I've changed my mind.  Oh, be sure to indicate you want the gas cap cover with the bib or you might get a bib only, no cover.

I did that yesterday and got a response this morning.  They said the Tourer tank bib will fit the I/S tank.  I don't see how that is considering the size difference in the tanks.  I sent a follow up question asking about that and I'll post the response as soon as I get it.

I posted here a couple weeks ago asking about Talisman...   all good responses.
I ordered 1 from them for my 99 I/S...  arrived in @ 6 days.   Will be putting it on today.

Just got the answer from Scott @ Talisman.  He said if you want the gas cap cover on an I/S bib to put it in the comments section when you order and he will bill you accordingly.

I have a Bib from Scott and am very happy with it. It has the braided edge and studs.

I just this morning ordered a cap cover to add to it. It is really needed when I use the super tall windscreen for 2-up touring.

Very good quality products from a VRCC supporter.

Cheers,
