When I hit a pothole it feels like the shocks are bottoming out. The rear shocks seem to be fine, is there anything out there I can use and get a better ride from the front of the bike. I did see the progressive spring kit but I'm not sure if they will be stiff enough. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have the progressive springs, and would buy them again. The price is not to bad, so, why not try it. If they are not enough, it should be possible to increase the preload a bit, i guess, with a few thick washers.

Avoid them bad boys!

Seriously, mine used to "clunk" all the time over pavement imperfections.  Progressive springs up front made a world of difference on my 99 Interstate.
