So, I'm reading a thread on the tech side and the story is no more complete oem windshields available new from Honda? I checked DirectLine and could not find them listed anymore.

I saw that too but I believe those are only parts, no listing for the complete windshield. If you order all the parts to make one up it would a very expensive shield for sure.

If your needing a quality replacement may I recommend Clearview. I have one on my Tourer and just love it with the center vent.

Clearview is a great replacement for damaged Tourer shields but they don't supply the mounting hardware. I am questioning the availability of a complete Hondaline windshield for people who have no shield and no mounting hardware for the plastic.

Directline has the windshield listed too.....just not a complete shield with mounts and hardware. But then again, I don't think I've ever seen a "complete" shield on there......just parts.

Just to clarify for everyone. The parts fische listing is for replacement parts for a factory Tourer windshield. Honda also sold the exact same shield minus the "Tourer" emblem as a Hondaline accessory same as saddlebag rails ect. There was a part number for the entire shield that seems to have been eliminated from the HDL site. I haven't checked with my local dealer to see what they say about availability. It's not a major issue for me as I have a spare shield hanging in the garage, it could be important to someone in the market or needing to replace a shield damaged in a mishap.

Excellent score. I will have to check them out more often. I would like to have the upper and lower brackets for my second shield.
