Hi All,

I am wanting to purchase the Nolan N104 helmet with the Bluetooth Kit.
Anyone here have this set?

My concern is with integrating the existing CB an Radio into the setup, as they are not Bluetooth enabled.

Looking for your thoughts/opinions.

Best regards,

Glenn

You might give these folks a call and they can possibly answer some of your questions.  Let us know what you find out.

Hey Stud,

Thanks for the link.

I have had several email exchanges with Jon. He was very helpful.
Unfortunately he does not provide support for Bluetooth helmets.
His stuff is all about integrating outside devices into the wired intercom system.

The GPS, iPhone & Satellite radio all to the Bluetooth helmet (Nolan 104).
I also want the stock AM/FM or CB to be used via Bluetooth helmet.

So now I just need to find something that takes the 5pin DIN plug and converts back and forth to Bluetooth.

J&M seem to have something for big bucks.

+ the cable package $199

$750 all in with shipping and taxes to my location.

I'm going to look into creating a Bluetooth solution. There must be something to bluetooth enable non bluetooth devices.  I don't mind building a special cable.

I'll update if I make any progress.

Cheers,

Glenn

Awesome lead OldOneEye!

The SR10 appears to be the device I'm looking for.

I'll keep you posted...

So it seems the SR10 is strictly Mono and NOT recommended for listening to music.
So that means the stock radio would be mono and not recommended for constant music use.
It appears the SR10 really is for intermittent Radio use.
I can deal with the Mono issue as it relates to any Radio/CB work, but not for listening to music.

I'm going to call them next week and try to speak to their tech folks to find out why it is not good for listening to music (besides being Mono).

Cheers,

Glenn
