This last weekend " Big Mike" had an incident when the driver in front of him did not have working Brake Lights causing Mike to wreck his custom blower bike. And my buddy " Kickstand" (a one legged Valk rider) was run off the road by a landscaper and landed in a ditch. The landscaper never stopped. Well,... We should be asking for PSA’s geared toward car drivers who “LOOK TWICE”. But this is what we got.

Just wait, pretty soon the govt. will be mandating seat belts and airbags and anti-lock brakes and GPS and voice activited assist and on and on on ALL cycles if they get their way, not to mention helmets required everywhere. The video mentions 'gear up' meaning full riding attire, etc.
If that time comes when I have to dress up in leather chaps, etc. and look like what some call the 'in' crowd around me, then that will be the sad day I sell my Valkyrie and get out of cycling for good. NO ONE will dictate on what I wear whether it be helmet (although I do wear one 99% of the time) and not allowing me to ride comfortably in shorts and t-shirt and tennis/gym shoes.
The same can be said about ATVing. If WI requires me to wear a helmet, goggles, blue jeans, full body armor, etc., etc. to ride my ATV, I will sell all three of them and get out of ATVing for life.
Just wait until cycle and ATV sales then fall down to un-acceptable all time low levels and dealerships close shop more so than they are now and no revenue is generated putting 1,000's more out of work all thanks to idiotic govt. laws that force us to follow their stupid rules.

" the driver in front of him did not have working Brake Lights causing Mike to wreck his custom blower bike." how do you figure that ? if i may .... bad luck and bad timing in the wrong place at exactly the wrong time unfortunately. The driver of the car might not have known his brake lights never worked. Unlikely, but could be true? Still doesn't make the accident any less painfull unfortunately. Speedy recovery!!
