1997 Std Valkyrie and 2001 red/blk I/S w/sidecar

I just put on the aftermarket trunk I sent pics of yesterday.  Some think it sticks back farther than stock Valkyrie trunk.  I measured from the rear fender bolt on the side brackets.  From the center of that bolt, to the rear of the trunk, is 23".  If I could get some of you to measure your distance and post it, I would appreciate it.

Diddo, 18 inches also, but if you want my oppinion i'd leave yours at 23.  if you've ever sat on your back seat it is alittle tight (that is for a lard a$$ like me)

18 inches is the spec, mine is in the 8 to 10 foot range, as it is on a shelf in my garage.... 2funny

Thanks guys.  Peter probably knew it by heart, as it was his trunk.  Thus, it sits back 5" farther.  Would not want to move ahead, as it would take up back seat space, unless maybe going on a long solo trip.
