First, don't know if this should be in the Tech section or not since it's not Valk related. I have one new tire that the Toyota dealer can't seem to get balanced. The biggest problem is these new fangled balancers that don't spin it up fast enough, wish I could find someone with a unit that balances the wheels on the car. Those were the most accurate systems I've ever used but just try finding one these days. So, my question is....how many ounces of beads do you use in the tire of an SUV?  I don't get any vibration until I'm approaching 75 mph, and of course the balancers never spin them that fast.

John,

Follow this link

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,7832.0.html

go to reply #2, read it and follow the link there to purchase them in bulk.  The innovative balancing link in reply 1 has a guide that tells you how much for various tires.  I use 3 oz in a car tire on the valk.

I had a tire that did that, I watched them balance it and you could see the tread was not round. They replaced the tire, actually 3 of them, they said the belts were broken in the tires. They were almost new tires.

I agree, if they can't balance it by spin balance, it has problems.

I'll probably just take it back and lay it on the line with them. They've tried balancing it twice already with the same results so I think it's time for a new one. These are fairly new tires as well and weren't cheap.
