Hands finally feeling better/ heads clear enough to type so much!

Front view of bike, it took most of the impact. Strong bike!

point of where the frame bent, the adjuster said that condemned the bik

Rotor bent almost flat, rim pealed back, could of caught the rear wheel well of van

My belly and below dented tank, at least I was an "Air Bag"  for Patty. I passed a kidney stone 72 hours latter

Waiting for the Wrecker to take the bike away, it truly sucked

Police report says I was going 45, The van approx 20 mph, making a left
She had two felony suspensions, never came over, never called 911.
Other drivers, Emerg. Services were great.

Most of all/ best of all, Patty and I had dinner out tonight with my Four children, Six grandchildren and assorted camp followers to celebrate my eldest grand daughters 14th  Birthday!

That's great news Bonzo.  Glad you guys went out.  Bike looks bad.  But at that speed, it could have been much worse.
Still praying cor y'all.

Thanks Hay, Oss, I walked a 1/2 a mile today, which is pretty good, Patty is doing good in PT, may need some Knee work. Here is a weird thing my body gained 26 pounds of water after the crash, went through the cellulites, kidney stones, swollen (guess, men have two).  Went to my MD three days ago,  two days after finishing the monster antibiotics my body dropped all the water!

I feel your pain, brother.  Totaled out my bike in Dallas, two months ago.  Snapped a tendon in my bicep, be out of work for four months. Be back in the saddle real soon.  Good luck on the healing process. Hope everything returns 100 percent.

Wow!. That bike saved your lives, no doubt in my mind. Glad you were able to get out with the family. Hope the healing and fixing goes smoothly for the both of you, and glad you had the comfort of strangers at the time of the accident. There are a  lot more good people than a$$holes out there; we just notice the A_holes more.

I agree with you Karen, I had no time for any evasive action, plus hitting a soft spot on a van helped! Hitting a car would have been different

Glad you and Patty are healing in the right direction and that you guys can still enjoy the family and everything the world has to offer.

Still looking at the Camaro?  Look at the Challenger as well.  More room for real men in the Challenger.

Through this all, the support here was a powerful healing force.

G-Man, in about an hour Patty takes possession of a 2011 Orange 2lt Camaro Convertible!  I almost went for a 2012 s/s convertible, than I looked at my bank book.
