You both are full of crap, neither of you would burn your own or anyone Else's Valkyrie.
OFF the record on the throttle. My understanding is, it was just a very few that did or would do this. There were several manufacturers making that electric throttle plate, and one batch from China was not up to specks. What my Toyota friend tells me, they got all of them replaced, that were still around.
Toyota was at fault on screwing with the car the driver was a fatality. If there was a fatality in any accident we investigated, we had to escort the vehicle on a flat bed or some type tow vehicle to a dealership we had made an agreement with to have the vehicle gone over with a fine tooth comb, measuring all kinds of stuff, tire tread, brake pad width, if drum brakes, how much lining was left, inner and out tie rods, ball joints, ya name it. They had a sheet prepared and printed by guidance of the Insurance Commission and Companies and with CHP input also. As a CHP on scene during this time, we watched to make sure nothing was lied about. You know how that goes.

Jeez, what part of "tongue in cheek" don't you understand. OP downs things Japanese on a regular basis, I assume in some kind of misguided attempt to make us see our evil ways for buying, owning, & enjoying our Valkyries. He has made several references to Pearl Harbor & such other things in his attempts to "convert" us. My response was in retort to what I viewed as another attempt by OP to show us the evils of a Japanese owned company. As if. I can assure everyone that my Valkyries are very safe & I will not be purchasing anything from Harley Davidson except gifts for Harley riding friends & relatives. BTW, being in the automobile parts biz for 35+ years, nothing surprises me anymore.
