I use shell Rotella T 15w40. Been running this in my Valkyrie for about 50,000 miles. I like it better than the Synthenic 5w40. I also use the Purolator L14459 .

Considering the fact that Ive always used Amsoil or Mobil 1 20w-50.
When I went to WalMart to get supplies.
They no longer have their own brand super tech filters.
Yes I know they are just Champion filters but didnt feel like running around to find one.

So I bought the purolater filter and for the 1st time plain old dino SuperTech 20w-50.
The whole change was a little more then the price of a quart of synthetic.
It takes all of 10 minutes  to speak of to change the oil on this bike.

What Im saying is IM perfectly content to change the oil more often as its so easy and cheaper on this bike.

About twice a year oreilley's and autozone put mobil 1 15w50 on sale for about 5 bucks a quart. That is the time to stock up 12qts for the year.

I found this in Owensboro, KY this week and I was so excited.  Around Louisville, KY I haven't seen it in the 5 qt size.  That's as excited over oil than anyone should be.
