or will they go the route that France seems to be taking?

I gotta admit that's pretty funny, and clever.

funny and clever won't make a 3 million dollar deficit into a 1.5 million dollar surplus though.

Polls opened at 7:00...  I was there at 7:10...  In my small village, I was voter # 137 (usually I'm in the teens)!  Line was out the door!  Poll workers said they had about 350 'early' voters too!

Great to be able to vote, without fear of violence, or retribution!

Yeah, it's pretty sad about the apathetic voter base. I early voted in our primaries. The people running the polling place said when I came in around 2PM or so I was the first person that came in that day.

I really wish more people would vote. Especially the ones that agree with me. The people that vote wrong are welcome to be apathetic and not vote of course... Wink

Yes, they went to Florida to put a bounty out on Zimmerman, remember.  But don't worry, Eric Holder won't go after them for that either.

It seems the election has been called for Walker to retain his governorship in Wisconsin, along with his Lt. Governor.  The vote spread is around 19% at this time.

Let's just hope this recall B.S. dwindles down very SOON and gets back to business NOT as usual.  I may not have agreed with how Walker went about his business, but in my opinion, he was elected as Governor of WI by the people of WI and won fair and square and did nothing illegal to violate his term of office so a recall was totally uncalled for.  Typical of Dane county (Madison WI) with all the crazy yuppies protesting days on end to oust Walker that Dane County won a huge landslide for Tom Barrett vs. the vast majority of the state stood behind Walker.

Hopefully Walker learned his lesson that he cannot bully his way with no discussion and moves WI forward and creates jobs and keeps WI employers in the state of WI.     cooldude

Wisconsin has spoken.  For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country!    2funny
By a 15% margin of victory, the folks in Wisconsin said "NO MORE!"

BTW, according to a talking head on CNN last night, when Walker's policies went into effect, 1/2 of the gov't union employees left the union as soon as they were able to.

as a side point, the recall was done properly but for the wrong reason. recalls should be done to get rid of the most heinous of people that some how still get elected. (I know some will think that of Obama)

just because you disagree with someones policies doesn't mean you oust them from office by recall or impeachment.

those that still call for Obama to be impeached take note.

Nov is closer then you think  cooldude
