It's hard to believe that in just seven short weeks, InZane XII will be in full swing - this time in beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  We'll see old friends, make new friends, and finally put faces to names we've become familiar with only through the various VRCC Boards.  One of the best ways to accomplish those three things is to volunteer for Raffle Ticket Sales under the tent, right next to Registration.

In addition to the fun and fellowship, we will also leave a nice mark on the community by supporting a local charity.  Many of those contributed dollars will come from the sale of Raffle and 50/50 Tickets.  So, in addition to my hope that lots of people buy lots of tickets, I'm also asking for help to sell the tickets.

Here are the 15 two-hour shifts that need two persons each.  Shifts start at 9:00 am Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and run through approximately 5:00 pm.  Wednesday starts at 11:00 am to allow full participation in the Joe Boyd Memorial Ride.  There is also an "all hands on deck" hour or so each evening.

If you would like to volunteer, please reply to this thread and I'll edit this original post to keep it both current and public.

Thank you!

If I remember right, registration closes while the Joe Boyd ride is happening so all can participate.

I will sell Monday and Tuesday (BJ too) from 9-11a.

I will also sell tickets every evening with 5_19, if he is up to it this year.

Thank you to all who have already stepped up!

Hey scoobydoo and tank_post142, do either you or your respective missus have a preference for your shifts?  I'd rather you (or her) choose than me assign.   Wink

Mario, it looks like Mr HG beat you to 11-1 Wednesday.  How 'bout 1-3 Wednesday with Red Diamond?  Let me know if that works.

Please tell Tim that, as far as I know, there is no mankini bike wash on the schedule of events.  There is, however, a place at the bottom of a hill off the main parking lot and obstructed from view of innocents if he wants to try to start a new InZane tradition...   Cheesy

Timbo,

Registration is currently set up to be outdoors.  There is a chance it will be moved indoors, but those plans have not been finalized.

Thanks,

You guys and gals are doing GREAT!   cooldude   Your willingness and desire to help is appreciated by many.   Smiley

Please note the edits I've made to the original post:
1. tank_post142 and his wife are selling Tuesday 11-1.
2. scoobydoo and his wife are selling Tuesday 1-3 and each evening.
3. Early Bird is selling Wednesday 3-5.  Who wants to help sell with Early Bird?  That would be old2soon.
4. da prez is selling Thursday 9-11.  Who wants to help sell with da prez?
5. 2 Valks and Lisa are selling Thursday 3-5.
6. Sparky51 is selling Thursday 1-3.  Who wants to help sell with Sparky51?

At this time, we have Sunday evening through Wednesday evening and part of Thursday covered.

We could use a couple more hands Tuesday evening.

We need one more volunteer for 3-5 Wednesday and a couple more hands Wednesday evening.

We need volunteers for three (9-11, 11-1, and 1-3) all shifts Thursday and a couple more hands Thursday evening.

I'll give this a while longer here before cross posting to the General Board.

Thanks again,

DFG

To keep this thread current and accurate, I've edited the original post to reflect the minor change Staff has made to the Wednesday morning schedule.

The original plan for the Joe Boyd Ride was Kick Stands Up (KSU) @ 9:00am / back by 11:00 and for Registration etc to open at that time.  The ride has been moved to KSU @ 11:00 - 11:30 / back by 1:00-ish in order to accommodate lunch at the dam with the charity we are supporting this year, the Special Olympics.

Registration etc will open from 9:00 - 11:00, close during the ride, and re-open at 1:00-ish to resume the normal schedule.

Hotglue #43 & f-Stop have agreed sell from 9:00 - 11:00 instead of their original 11:00 - 1:00 shift.  Thanks, guys!   cooldude
