I'm looking for a set of polished wheels for my tourer. it's my understanding that the 2001 and newer models came from honda with polished wheels, then clear coated. If they can be found what would could they be purchased for?

You can polish yours. Mothers mag & alum polish and mothers mini power ball make it relatively easy. Remove your wheels, then the rotors and polish away. I've done two sets of wheels and they turned out great. If you've got some ruff spots, like scratches, use some 600 wet n dry to smooth things out and then polish away. You may need to follow up the 600 with 1000 grit.   Cool

I've tried the Mother's before.....it worked pretty good, but then I tried White Diamond metal polish.  W/D seemed to work better for me.  Used a mini power ball and also worked it by hand with both polishes.

Do it yourself and save some cash.
I wet sanded mine recently 320 grit, 400 grit, 600 grit, 1000 grit. Then used a small buffer with the white stick, then White diamonds.
 Looks close to chrome.
I have seen some good video here years ago regarding wheel polishing and some different methods used. Maybe someone has that link?
