Constructiongear.com

Placed order with them on Sunday.

As of 2 minutes ago their online order tracking web page has no information about my order.
There is no way to leave them a voice mail either.

I'm going to start a list of companies I have dealt with or see mentioned online with poor service.

I buy most Internet purchases from Amazon (the other "most" place I buy from is HDL)...

Sometimes the stuff you get from Amazon doesn't really come from Amazon,
but from some "little guy" who is one of their sellers...

I think Amazon has great customer service, and it seems that all the "little guys"
are desperate to keep a good rating so they can remain Amazon sellers...

a retired co-worker had a side business where he bought "Lots" of merchandise that had been returned to stores and re-sold it on Amazon....(said he'd sold $5,000 worth of it one month)...but he didn't last long because he did something that ticked Amazon off and he was booted from their seller list??......he let us have first pick of what stock he had left.....

If it's MC related, I usually buy from HDL bc they will match the price plus knock off 5%. When I first started dealing with them i was impressed bc usually I would get my order in a day or two. I just ordered a tire and it took about a 10 days to get here! Since they closed the Hendersonville warehouse down, now it comes from Fl.

Dang... I'm used to tires showing up quick, and "weird" parts (if a rear brake master cylinder is weird) taking a week or three...
I have a theory that if you can stand your local dealer's prices, you can get stuff quickest there, the closest Honda dealer to me
is a two hour round trip... The near-by Suzuki shop said he'd be glad to order Honda parts for me, haven't taken him up on it yet...

I meant to say DLP. After this last order I called and found the reason it took so long is they closed the warehouse 6 months ago. Usually when I go to the Honda shop in Easley, I'll bring HDL's # and price and they have always matched it so far!  cooldude

Heard from the company and it will be another 7 to 10 days before the item is shipped.

No mention of this on the web site.

I want it so will suck it up this once
