Myrtle Beach can breath a sigh of relief now........

that I'm back home.......took this whole week off and Mrs.'s and me rode over there for a few days....rained a lot of the time(hope it's dry for the ride to VA on the bike).......but we did get a few things in between the rain showers.......

This was their Skywheel.....200ft. tall.....and I don't like heights even though I regularly have to use 60+ft.  bucket trucks.....






This is the VIP car.....it has a glass floor(no, I didn't ride in it!!)....




The Boss seems to be enjoying it.....



I'm tolerating it.....

We stayed at the Landmark Resort...$100ish/night...right on the beach.....it has an attached parking garage and I saw a couple of bikes parked in it......it also has a covered. AC'd walkway over to the hotel.....it is at 15th/16th Ave at Ocean Blvd.......has a lot of hot tubs, pools, and some lazy rivers in it.....

There are a ton of little Mom/Pop motels on the other side of the street that have parking at the door.....not sure how many are bike friendly??......I never saw anyone messing with those bikes inside the parking deck we were in though.....Joe probably knows Myrtle Beach a lot better than I do......I doubt he'd steer you wrong......

The wife and i rode down a few weeks ago and had a great time. We stayed at Grand shores resort in an oceanfront. I've stayed in a lot of oceanfronts over the years and have yet to find one that the parking garage would be on your  floor. We stayed on the 5th and they woudn't let bikes up there. We had to park gound level and take the elevator up. I demanded to see the manager and expressed my concern of leaving my bike where I couldn't see it. He said some of the condos and rooms were individually owned and the owners wouldn't let them. He said he understood and rode his to work and would have security make extra rounds for me.
