I want to go due west from Leemore to the PCH.

I see Hwy 198 but after that ends at 101 there are some bumpy bits in the way.

Is there a paved road way across the bumpy bits?

Britman;
If you are anywhere north of  Ventura, So Cal, I cannot help you.  Embarrassed
Is your location Leemore or Livermore? Undecided

If you give me this info... where you are now and your desired destination, I can Google the map,
then COPY and Paste the directions.  ??? cooldude

I'll check the board every hour for the next 3 hours. Wink

Good luck. Lips Sealed

198 is a great road for motorcycles. If you can take hwy 25 from 198 to Hollister to 101. 25 is one of the best motorcycle roads I've ever been on. 198 won't take you all the way to the coast just to 101.

Have fun,

I live in San Luis Obispo, which is about two hours south and west of Lemoore.

Take 198 west to 101 and go south.  Take the next exit (#271) which is listed as Lockwood San Lucas Road and go south.  That dead ends on Lockwood Jolon road.  Turn right at the intersection. Continue on Jolon road until it ends and go right.  You will turn left on Mission road and go into Fort Hunter Liggett.

To enter Fort Hunter Liggett, you must have your license with a motorcycle endorsement (if your state has one) and show proof of insurance.  You will make a left on Naciemento Fergusson Road and follow that over the mountains and end up on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Going South on PCH you will eventually pass Hearst Castle which is worth seeing.  Just north of Hearst castle is a viewing area where you can see some elephant seals.  If you go north on PCH you will eventually get to Monterey.

These are scenic roads, but not always in perfect condition.

Send me a PM if you have questions.
