In trouble for taking a picture holding guns?

You'd think a country with that much untamed land would be more gun-friendly but whatever.

The Aussies confiscated and destroyed all private owned guns about ten years ago.  Crocodile dundee was appalled!  So was I, used to think I would like to live there.  Shocked Hoser

Wouldn't it just be easier to send Hillary and Osama (I can spell) down under where they get what they want and we get what we want (rid of them)?

Here's a summary of the UK knife law

http://www.bkcg.co.uk/guide/law.html

One sentence from it

The Criminal Justice Act (1988) says that you may carry a knife with a blade length of 3.0" or less so long as it is capable of folding. That means no fixed blade knives

I'm pretty sure if I was those guys I might complete my swimming career and tell them to stuff it and move to Montana.  No knives, no guns, ridiculous prices - not worth it.  Read Sgt. Marty's ride report on Down Under:  http://www.errant-ronin.com/RideReports/NZ-Oz/NZ-Oz-1.htm

if you don't know the back story on how they lost private ownership of firearms, it's definately worth looking into.  Shocked holy mass hysteria batman!

Yeah, those left-wingnuts like Romney signing assault weapon bans into law and Reagan outlawing automatic weapons...

Reagan outlawing m.g.s? pretty sure that was clinton's ban on manufacture of new ones that made my retirement.

Nnnnnnnnope.

I mean yeah Clinton enacted an AW ban which Bush II allowed to expire (it's the piece of legislation that Mass used as the template for their own AW ban that Romney signed into law) which is maybe the only good thing Bush II did for America, but look up NFA on Wiki for more info on Ronnie Raygun's contribution to the landscape.

oh yes the FOPA. thats when Rangle (d-ny) called for a vote to ban the transfer to civilians of new manufactured MGs after the law was signed. he lost that vote the morning of May 19th but directed the Clerk to leave the provision in the copy that was brought to Reagan that morning to be signed?
oh yes i remember that. didn't end up a couple of years ago finally get his on a different ethics charge?
