ABATE, AMA, & MRF rep.

« on: June 09, 2012, 12:30:53 PM »

The HD dealer brought two bikes and left. The dealer had a party at the dealership!

Rosenau Motorsports did not even try to show up.

ABATE had my wife there to give a seminar on proper M/C training,....and no one showed.

I was to give an "Awareness" seminar,....and no one showed.

There was a driving school there, but they only do rider testing and no training. I asked if they would like a motorcyclist come into the classroom and give a talk about "motorcycle awareness",....at no charge. They declined because they "have to teach students not to drive and text". Really?

The CMA was there and they did their best to get guests to the right vendor area.

The funniest thing that I saw there was a scooter with some type of outrigger wheels (training wheels?).

All in all, I'd have to say it was badly promoted and the vendors weren't at all serious about the event.
