We’d like to thank all of you that participated in this years ride, we had over 100 bikes show up this year and someone said 91 of them were on the actual ride…the mayor of Marion, Va. Came to the hotel and welcomed us to his town and gave Joe and I community pins, Joe gave him a beer cooldude….he also gave us a get out of jail card police as long as we didn’t drink and ride or do any harm to his town cooldude…the way the event was set up no one had to leave the hotel or area by bike, everything we needed was in walking distance..

My congratulations to all the riders that took the main ride, the entire ride stayed together for 168 miles, covering some 3-4000 twisties and switchbackss, not an easy feat for that many bikes, no accidents or break downs and nobody died and we were able to use all the motorcycles the next day Grin…good ride, good day, good folks Smiley…the folks in the middle of the ride said that the ones up front missed the display the local folks did when we passed though, coming out on their porches and street to wave and cheer us on, must have took 5-10 minutes for the ride to pass by….those folks back there in the hill country really appreciate us coming into their part of the country, every shop owner where we stopped thanked us for stopping there…. Smiley

The food bank did extremely well with the meal and they were overwhelmed by our donations, especially Santa, who donated his 50/50 winnings back to them a sum of $260 that bought them another 3000 lbs. of food…..Fon1961 put it best, Santa is for real cooldude..even the money for the mine tour went to the community.

Thanks again for all that came to this ride, it’s really all of you who make these rides a success…

Don and Tracy,  Please do not stop having these Hillbilly tours!  I am a W.Va. Hillbilly and I love the way you, Joe and Ron set up everything for us.  I know the ride is slow and may be boring to some but it is a safe ride for everyone.  And we don't always have to ride with our hair on fire to enjoy the ride, our friends or the scenery.  Seeing everyone again and again is worth the time and money spent, and we do get to help others with Ron's help with the lunches we have.
Thanks again for all you do!
