Yep. Tricky part is getting dual-filament sockets in the rear signals.

VERY COOL! I notice they are currently back ordered. I guess patience is now required.

Yep. Tricky part is getting dual-filament sockets in the rear signals. It is not that tricky. You just have to replace the rear socket with one fron the front. I tied the running lights into the license plate light. Joe

You can leave them as is and hook orange wires to blue or be anal like I was and switch the sockets so the wire colors match. Marty

Probably should have been more explicit. I have the dual brilliance turns in back, done with aftermarket housings and LED's. I mounted them on a narrower SS bracket so I can remove the bags/rails as one piece if I have a helping hand. Stock turns are too wide to do that. I digress. Recently, for some reason the only brake light I have is the taillight, the turns work as run/turn but quit working as brake lights. Had it like that for 5-6 yrs. now until someone recently asked me about it.
I'll figure out my brake light problem, I was asking about the Hoppy for a different bike I was recently working on. It had this big 3" square module, approx. 1.25" thick, mounted on top of the swingarm and under the battery box. It was a wiring nightmare and the module was crushed due to its location. I was just thinking about replacing it (I removed the mess) with a Hoppy which if like the one I have is only about 1/2" thick. I think the owner would like to have some additional lights in back again. And I sure wouldn't mount it in the same place again, probably just lay it on top of the battery cover.

I just picked one of the hoppy 48915 converters up tonight from o'reillys auto parts.......yeah they had to order it for me but it's a next day part so it wasn't a big deal. Well it wasn't a big deal till I pulled the end cap/cover off the converter and the ground pin was broken off inside the cap Here's the one I got to convert the 5 wire system to a standard flat 4 that I put on his trailer: http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.com/products/vehicle-wiring-connectors/taillight-converters/tail_light_converter_60.htmlOh well they have me another on ordered already and should be here tomorrow so I can finish up the wiring on my uncle's wing and trailer that I put new lights and wiring on. Started with this: After new lights, tires and a custom rear bumper: Dragon Slayer 129

No, the name on it was Priority Plus, made by Sound Off Recreational, Inc. The unit I removed for him was larger than those in the pictures in the link below, but served the same purpose. This one was stuck on the swingarm with a large pad and hung over the back edge of the s/a. As soon as he rode off with it, the new c/t he had me install ground off the corner of the module. He claimed it was making a crunching noise like walking on snow....now we know what was crunching. http://www.soundoffrec.com/products/lights.aspx

I've used the converter you reference on three bikes -- two Valks and a 750 Honda Spirit
