Has anybody ever seen or heard of a Valkyrie being ridden in a serious 1%er type club?  You know the Hell's Angel type group with the 3 piece back patches and all.

Most 1%ers require you to ride HD's, from what I understand.

No, but at one of my favorite watering holes (gone now for several years  Embarrassed) we had a contingency of Warlocks that considered the joint "their territory". One of the members, who later became the chapter president, use to come over and chat with our group. Well, on more than one occasion he would quiz me about the Valk. He even asked me outside once because he wanted to take a closer look. Had me crank it up and let the Vikings howl. He never said a lot about it, but I could tell by his questions and the gleam in his eye he liked that bike. Never had any problems with the members that hung around. We even got invited to some of their chapter parties....sorry, not my cup of tea  Sad

What forjj said. All the true 1% clubs I know of require either HD or Victory at this point. Some of the 1% wanna be copy cat clubs seem to be doing the same.

All the best,

Never heard HD only. Most tell me Made In USA bikes. Had a few check the Valk out before.

The Polish VRCC is a 1% type club, when I was at Inzane 3 in Finland, the Polish Valk riders were there with Prospects, hangarounds, property of women, etc.. the whole kit and kabudel, you have to prospect to be patched and they have the 3 piece patch. It was interesting to see, all of us doing our thing with our VRCC back patch, maybe a top rocker of the country your from, and the the Poles having the prospects running for everything.

Yes.

Some  clubs require members to ride "an American-made motorcycle".

I helped a MI VRCC member by letting him know about a tourer that a 1%er had for sale.
He got it cheap as it had some minor damage and the 1%er had just bought another new HD.

Gypsies are a partying bunch of bikers, but they're not a 1% club.  Yes, they do ride varying brands.

Local club (Outlaws supporters) former President rides an Interstate. Still has
"a few" harleys for club rides though. Said he bought the Valk because "I got
tired of working on bikes, I just wanna ride 'em." Yes, that's a direct quote.

Alot of the bylaws say American made, American owned company, 1000 cc or bigger, I think they wanted to get around the Hondas being made here in the US, when the Valk and VTX were made here.

There are a lot of Hells Angels and some Outlaws here and I have yet to see anything but Harleys and not even a Victory or Indian. That is just my observation. The next time I see one I will ask him.
