Saw this yesterday on the Ephrata , Wa CL.  Nice looking, low mileage but way over priced IS.

I would like to say it isn't over-priced IF it is in mint condition.  Of course, we all know that usually is not the situation.  cooldude

The average Valkyrie owner isn't wanting a museum quality over priced piece....  because after the first year it will more than likely only be worth just what the others of that era and mileage are.   And museums might not want to pay that much either.....

But, you can't say it is overpriced if there is SOMEBODY who would be willing to pay that price.  I think most owners underprice their Valks, especially to insurance companies.

IMHO, anything that brings you so much joy and pride of ownership is priceless. I know it is a cliche, but think about it.  Smiley
In today's dollars where $20K would only get you a "plain Jane" cage if that, $10K or less does not appear a fortune to pay
for this magnificent machine. Wink

I posted mine for $9500, which hovers around my investment. I know there are many good deals out there
for way less than $9500.

I believe many are selling for financial / economic reasons. It is indeed a "buyer's market" and if you can afford it,
what a great time to buy!  laugh

At any rate, I know, my Valk would not command my asking price but she brings warmth to my heart every time
I look at or touch her...  Wink
I am lucky that I don't need to sell her and she's happy about that...  Smiley

My only motivation for selling them both (Valk / VTX) is to get me a nice Valkyrie Trike. cooldude

Yes indeedie.. I paid one price to the owner (in GA) but the State of Florida thinks I paid a whole lot less for it!!! They are worth what someone is willing to pay. Now, who wants a nice 99 Green and Silver ( the fastest color) I/S? Only $22,000, lots of extras included!!
