Electric Horns (non Valk)
«

My SUV horns are sucking lately so I need to replace them. They are a TWO wire OE set. I found a set that I want that are a ONE wire OE set.
As long as I find the hot in the SUV's horn plug can I hook these ONE wire horns to the SUV? It would seem simple but I do not want to blow some relays or have to add a bunch of stuff.
Any tips?

One wire horns use the horn body and the chassis where it mounts as the ground. GM horns I've seen recently use a green wire for power, and if two wires, a black wire for ground. If you are unsure, use hearing protection, a test light, and your favourite helper to push the horn button.
