Thinking of getting medium brown saddlebags and bomber jacket brown seat, but have been told that if caught in the rain water spots will become a problem.

Is that true? Any effective treatments that don't change the color(darken) available?.

Aprreciate your help

Haven't had any problem with my set up, and believe me....it has seen some rain, not intentionally though. I have a seat rain cover but by the time I get it out and in place, it's too late anyway.

I got mine recovered in a tan so it would augment the Jade and Cream Tourer.
 You know, the prettiest ones.
I recall it was about $110.00, That was 5 years ago or so, might be a bit more.
The Arizona overdose of UV had its way with the original.

i also have bron seat...had re coverred last year.  have not got caught in real heave rain but I have not had any issue with bit of rain I have had.  I keep it treated with Lexol and always looks great.  I have Sinoma green/cream '97 tourer.  has feather detail by "Scarecrow" out of NC.  The brown seat really looks good with color scheme; Id be happy to show you but have not been able to post pics on site... if you are interest in seeing it feel free to email me and I will send them to you.

Good luck with your search...ride safe
