I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

I pulled the triger this evening and installed my C/T. I have had it mounted on my extra wheel for about 6 months now so it is about time. It is a Potenza and I put 45 psi in it. Road it around the hood after I had it on. Really did not notice that much diffrence in the handeling. I still have a ton of cleaning to do before I put the hard bags back on and wire the bag lights. I took the shocks off to check the bushings and they look brand new. There the ones that came with the 440's. I have a set of Gary's shock bushing in stock so I will hang on to them.
The flang still looks good and everything has grease.
It only took about an hour and a half to do.

If it is the  Potenza  G 19 I'm on my second one and really like it. I run 38 psi in mine seems to work well and doesn't wear the center out early.

Good luck with it. Give it a thousand miles or two to be sure. Check for rubbing/chafing (you will look at it every time you get on, trust me). Mine rubs on the right side somewhere now and then, I really don't know under what conditions, but it hasn't rubbed the lettering off after 14K miles, so I don't worry about it anymore. If it looks like an issue, use some masking tape at the swingarm, fender bolts etc to see where it's rubbing and see if there's a fix.
It'll surprise you now and then on uneven pavement, but you get used to it. I'm on my second year with my Falken, and am very confident with it.

He's right, it will follow ruts in the asphalt at very low speeds.  I notice it mostly while I'm stopping for traffic lights.  To help on this, I run 35 or 36 lbs in mine so the sidewalls are softer.   For what it's worth, I will NEVER put another motorcycle tire on the rear of my Interstate. cooldude

Running 37psi in my Potenza G019 now. Took about 1300 miles to get it broken in. Got over 4000 on it now with no complaints, rides as good if not better than any MC tire I've used.

My Good Year Triple Tread, I run 36#.

Good tire in my opinion.

But my opinion is just like a'holes, everyone has one.

Good night Gracie.

Uneven pavement will make your butt pucker up a little bit. To me it seems to ride smoother on the grooved pavement. The C/T is not a neutral as a M/C tire. I have to push down a little harder in the curves. Taking it easy until I get use to it. Will post more in a few hundred miles.
