Check out this goldwing, it is not a one-off job, there's a
company that sells this as a kit...

It is not really "solo", but it still has all the trunk stuff off...

Looks cool but I don't really see why someone would want one.  If someone buys a wing it is because they want a touring machine.  If you want a badass looking bike, buy a Rune.

Ida know... I "tour" on my tourer which is set up solo... Goldwings are good bikes, I think it would
be cool to be able to easily set one up solo (I realize this one's not really solo, but close).

I'd ride it...

I have to forward this to the old man.  Dad's been (even more) jealous of the valk, especially since I super-valked it.  He still likes all the bells and whistles of the wing, and needs the reverse gear, but loves the look of my I/S.

I like the look. honda refuses to build a new valkyrie so leave it to an american company to build one.  cooldude

the site also shows 2 cams avail for the GL1500 and one for the valkyrie.

Looks ridiculous.  Why take the trunk off a touring machine?   uglystupid2

Different strokes for different folks I guess, but why in the heck would anyone want to do that to a Goldwing?  They might as well put a set of ape hangers on it while they're at it.  Viola....Goldglide.   Smiley

I like it.....    kinda Sporty and not necessarily Solo... but nice looking.   Provides flexibility to the Goldwing that I have not seen elsewhere.    cooldude

I like it.  The GL1800 handles like an 800 lb. sportbike already and this just gives it a different look.  I love my Valkyrie but sure do miss my 1800 Wing too.

Looks darn good to me.
Kinda takes the "old fart" edge off the Wing.

Who's got the pic of the "naked" wing?  I believe it was Blue and Silver.  Almost like a Rune, but better!

This one?

It is doomed, without the bags.

I guess the "black slab" on the yellow one hides a bunch of the rear frame too...

I want the yellow one with a solo seat and no black slab... the exposed frame in the
picture of the blue one probably shows why that's not going to happen easily...

Check the website for the kit, they offer/can get it painted for you to match your wing so you don't have the "black Slab".
