I want to thank everyone for their input about the HF trailer.  Now, I am interested in a trailer hitch.  I was looking online a few days ago and found both a "hidden" and a regular hitch for the Valk std.  And, of course, I can't find it online today.

Would those of you who have a hitch or know about them let me know where to go online to check them out?

I also have a car tire on back, if that is important to know.  Had it on there for 35,000 miles, and it still looks new.  Just love it!

Hitch Doc

http://www.hitchdoc.com/motorcyclehitches.php#honda

XF6 used to offer them, but I don't seem them listed on his site now.....

http://www.xf6-custom.com/valkpartspage.html

You might want to contact Daryl to see if he's still making them or not.

I think Big Bike Parts used to offer them, but like everything else that's made of unabtonium, I don't think they offer them anymore either.

There's always ebay and craigslist.

Daryl will make a trailer hitch, but he is going to need at least 3-4 people who want one before he will make another run of them.  I have one of daryl's hitches on one of me valks, and a show chrome brand on the other valk.  there is a BIG difference in the quality of the two....daryl's hitch has got the rest beat 10 to 1.  Call him.

I have a Hitchdoc, but this was long before anyone else built one.

I got it in like 1998 or 99, and it is still as shiny now as it was when we fought like hell to get it on.    Secret, take one side off at a time off, if ya take them both off, you will learn some new Navy words, if ya don't already know them.

If I was buying one to day, 1st choice would be Daryl's hitch, then Hitchdoc and that is as far down the line I'd go.   If I had to go lower, I'd just forget about the hitch option.

I just got off the phone with Daryl.
Real nice feller to speak with and straight up businessman.

Daryl will make them on the following conditions.

***********

5 committed orders

$75 deposited from each person

They cost $450.00 plus shipping.

And they will take about a month to be completed

************

So its go/no go based on if we can get enough orders placed in the next couple weeks.

Who else wants to commit ?
