Honda calls them a "collar" but it's the large pipe like spacer inside each wheel that sits between the wheel bearings. On the parts breakdown used for ordering parts all I can find is a size for the front one...27x119mm, but nowhere do I find the size for the rear. I have no intention of pulling mine apart at the moment to find out, so does anyone have a source for this. Either online or you may possibly have one laying around, just remember....they're not the same size/length. So if you measure the one you have and it matches the size I mentioned above, then it's for the front wheel.

The rear spacer is .885" according to X Ring's write up regarding the double row bearing mod (http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/5204_bearing_mod.pdf). See page 5.

Wrong spacer. The one you referred to is the outer spacer, goes on the left side between the bearing and the brake caliper mount. The one I asked about is the internal one that goes between the bearings. By luck, in his write-up Marty(x-ring) shows the measurement for the spacer I'm asking about so your link did in fact give me what I was looking for.  cooldude

It shows the internal spacer as being 4.662" long, or 118.4148mm.

John, that would make the difference about 2 hairs ??  Changed out the Radiator fluid last night and put the bike back together, rails...all good.   So I am thinkin the wheel was cut to deep?   need to up date the other thread...

I happen to have one sitting in my house, but no means of measuring as accurately as you seem to already have it.

The measurement of the spacer is meaningless without also measuring the distance between the lands and to which the spacer is to match the dimension.

Actually, the internal spacer or collar, if you will, takes up the space between the inner races of the left and right bearings and prevents the inner races from being pushed inward by the torquing of the axle nut.
