It's another attack on Constitutionally guaranteed States Rights.

I don't believe Rick Schmitt and  those like him have clean hands and pure hearts.

I get the idea from the article that motorcycle training doesn't do anything for safety.  So put on a helmet and you are safer than actually learning how to ride?  I have my doubts about that.

An excerpt from the article.     “Maybe we ought to save some of the costs when police or emergency responders go to the scene of a crash and the person is not wearing a helmet,” Dabbs said. “Perhaps they ought to be left there like roadkill.”       What kind of idiot makes a statement like that?

Probably the same kind of idiot that thinks that the fire dept should let someone's house burn if they didn't pay the "fee".
