Hi all- I have a 97 Tourer with 40,000 mile/ with cobra exhaust/ std air cleaner-not sure if bike has been re-jetted by previous owner- just had valves adjusted, carbs sync'd-- i was told by mechanic that bike is running a bit rich-- he said I should have rejetted and put on dyno?. Bike pulls well but seems to struggle between 2000 and 2700 rpms. I live on coast at sea level, bike was from Nevada-- bike does seem to run better at higher altitudes.

Any suggestions? will re-jetting help? If re-jetting is way to go-- approx what would this cost including  Dyno?

Thanks in advance

Dyno runs from $50 to 100, depending on what part of California you are in..

Let the dyno people tell ya what ya need done..........   After it is done, then run it on the Dyno again using your original report for a guideline......
