I really couldn't say as I only get to see my grand daugther a couple of times a year as she lives 1000 miles away.  When I do see her it takes a while for her to get used to me (I'm sure some of you can relate).  The good news is we are supposed to get together in Pittsburgh for a week over the 4th so maybe I'll be able to comment then.

I guess I could jump in line a bash the dad on his weaknesses.  Instead, I'll give him a little praise for doing something that he knew he would be uncomfortable with, in order to take a ride with his daughter.

Yeah, and all that screaming and carrying on was just an act to make my daughter feel confident.
