After riding around on my new Ultimate King Big Boy today. I have been watching the internet for about 6 weeks and could not find a deal so called Ultimate and driver's seat delivered yesterday afternoon along with raincover and "blinker buddy". Since they are a vendor for VRCC i asked if they gave members a discount. The guy taking order asked around and said no . . . but they gave me the $30 raincover for free instead. Good for them! Had buddy stop by for two days on his way back to northern CA. Yesterday we rode about 225 mi up and down in mtns with lots of twisties. My butt was shifting around on the OEM seat a lot towards the end. Today he was heading home so i rode on my new seat with him up through high desert towards Tehachapi and sent him on his way and turned around and came home. so about 350 mi on the new seat. What a difference. And it was out of box, slide the back into its spot and the front clicked right down the way it was supposed to. I wanted to put a few miles on it to get an opinion. Do Not know why I have not done this sooner. BIG difference!!

I did the same thing with a stang. I could not afford the ultimate, but the stang is such an improvement over stock that i can ride twice to 3 times further before starting having problems with my butt or hips. I figure i will run this one for a few more years, and keep my eyes open for a good used ultimate.
Glad you got something that works for you. being comfortable makes all the difference in the world!

What a coincidence that Kim just picked up the KBB that I bought from E-Bay today at the Post Office. I'm glad you are enjoying it Donald! I have 50,000 very enjoyable miles with my KBB saddled '97 Valk. Now that I have the KBB for the '99 I will have to ride over to the Ultimate Seat shop at Destination Daytona Saturday to buy a KBB backrest to complete it. We rode over on Fathers Day to see them but they are closed on Sunday. So we rode up a weird feeling nearly deserted Main St. to check out the HotLeathers shop then on to the Ocean Deck for a Fathers Day lunch. I figured you might recognize the Ocean Deck down here in your old stomping grounds Donald!

After I saw that one go to you so fast off ebay, i figured i better just go ahead and cough up the $$ and quit waiting around for a super deal like yours. I will be sure to get in touch with you guys if i get down to visit my brother and his family in Oxford or my sister and brother-in-law in Leesburg. Maybe I could chase up a bike and you can show me around.

I really enjoy mine. It's an all day seat for sure with no comfort complaints. One thing I don't like is, it sits you several inches taller in the saddle. (I never measured, just feels that way)

I am expecting delivery of the "leather" Big Boy either today or tomorrow that I purchased on Ebay for my "new to me" bumble bee that I purchased about three weeks ago. It's pretty plain, but only has 17K on the odometer and runs like a banshee compared to my I/S or my friend's tourer. I am sure that it will acquire a little more bling as time goes on...Jim

I'm 6'4" about 210 - 215. I believe the Ultimate web site mentions 1" up and 2" back. I didn't really notice any up but did note sitting a little farther back as I had to adjust my Utopia backrest to go a little further back. Had no problem with holding grips even leaning back and up on hwy pegs.

Right now I can lean back on the backrest and reach the grips with no problems.

Maybe I could chase up a bike and you can show me around. Got an extra Valk in the garage for when you come down! Well the way it's going to be is: This bike will be King Big Boy equipped. This bike will be King Big Boy equipped as well. And Kim's Valk will have the Ultimate Low Rider seat. We will be selling the extra seat, an Ultimate Big Boy with backrest soon. After riding both seats for a bit Kim decided she likes the Low Rider better even though she has a 34" inseam & doesn't need a low seat height to touch the ground. She says she feels more in control with the Low Rider so the choice was made. Even though the Big Boy is a great seat I'm partial to the King, maybe because of all the miles I've ridden on one. As an FYI, the Low Rider does feel quite a bit lower than the King with the Big Boy about in between the two. The King does sit you back further than both. The Big boy feels much like a Mustang seat but more "plush". Donald, get with me about a week before you head on down!
