Remove the pivot bolt on the rear brake pedal. Clean, lubricate, and reassemble. Makes a world of difference. You will probably find it full of rust.

I have removed pedal cleaned and lubed rebuilt caliper, did all nothing helped like this brake pedal pad is all I am saying. Due to arthris in foot it helps to have a bigger pad to push down on

I added an aftermarket cover not only to dress it up, but to add some meat to the pedal height and it changes the angle ..... in a good way.  You can not only hit the pedal at a better angle but a little more meat on the pedal face as well.

Which one did you install?

Exactly Britman..........Every time this topic comes up about wanting more braking power in the rear, I wonder is the person properly using the fronts.

I see nothing wrong with taking steps to make ther rear brake better, just dont rely on it primarily, thats asking for a disaster

well it was a big bike parts show chrome. as I put down the brakes work great  its just the pad for your foot will seem small to you and hard to push when you cannot apply to much pressure on your big toe, adding this pad I can apply the brake much better. So my point was to only let others with athritis or foot issues know that I am having good luck adding this
