Suppose to be 103 out today.  Upper 90's-100 for the next week. Glad the ac in back of the ambulance only works half the time.  Undecided Me & my p are gonna try and cook a egg later today on the sidewalk.  Cheesy Heat dont bother me but the humidity sux. Feels like a nice So Dakota day out now.
Moderate drought conditions up here to. About 10" behind on rain. Cont fire ban till July 2nd so far. Boy my burnables are really piling up.  Angry We also have a high fire warning up here to. Cant recall us ever having any. We had a really early spring this yr. Got into the 90's by mid March. Its usualy 40. No rain since, gosh, April maybe. Even then it was not much. Did rain a little 2 weeks ago but for 5 min only. Beans look like crap and our corn although is head high, looks dry. Leaves are rolled up tighter then a joint.  Cheesy Wheat is already being combined around us, which is about a month early. Our winter sucked so our wheat was plowed under this spring.  Embarrassed Baled hay last night. Only one field was tall enough to cut. We got 44 bale out of it. We usually get about 100 out of it. It was so dry we had to change the tension of the bale strings 10 times to get one tight enough.

New Haven has an additional ban on igniting fireworks.  Maybe we'll have some peace and quiet after 11 pm or so.

I'm not against fireworks just against idiots that  set them off when people are trying to sleep.  $500.00 fine, maybe New Haven will get some dough in the coffers from these idiots that don't give a sh## about other people.

It sure doesn't sound good for farmers.  I hope that no fires get started and make things even worse.

We're supposed to get some rain but that's been predicted before with no luck.  I haven't been down to Rousch reservoir lately.  How does that look Brian?

Carbondale has a high of 106 today and 109 tomorrow, its currently 103. Saw this on SIU's facebook, even the squirrels are hot and trying to keep cool on the concrete.

Well I'm out in the rig. Monday I was in Montana and was kinda hoping for some cool temps. It was 103. I have since driven down to OKC. I saw temps as high as 107.

My rig is a condo cab that my boss thoughtfully removed the curtains separating the cab from the bunk. The AC just can't keep up with cooling the entire truck, especially being black. So the best I could manage was a cozy mid 90's with the AC on full blast. The air coming out of the vents was cold but once I moved out from dead in front of the vents....I felt nothing.

Guess my recrap tires on the trailer didn't care for the scorching hot pavement combined with a 46,000 lb load traveling at 75 mph for 8 hours straight....I just lost 2. Lovely.

You just know it's gonna be hot one when the coolest it gets at night is the mid to upper 80's. Damn!

Not bad at least at the dam side. Never seen the other end but since the Wabash flows tho it, cant be to bad. Now the Salamonie is way down. I bet 8' below normal.   ??? All the old boat ramp accesses off the county roads have knee high grass growing and it looks like a creek going thru it. Was at Mississinewa last sunday and it looks good. Alot of boaters out.

We had 41 c which is about 106 f yesterday here in my part of Spain and that is unheard of here. Hasn't seemed to have dropped much overnight either, hopefully we won't have the forest fires that you guys are suffering at the moment.
