I started having trouble with front brake calipers sticking on my Interstate, so I took them apart and cleaned everything real well and reinstalled. I went to bleed the brakes, and they would not respond at all to bleeding them the traditional way. I have bled the brakes on cars and some of my Harley bikes in the past with no real issues, but these were not working at all, and apparently had a lot of air in the lines. I went and bought a Mityvac kit with the hand pump and pressure gauge, and it was a miracle worker. Worked perfectly and only took a few minutes, and was worth its weight in gold! I will never bleed brakes again without it. If you don't have one and are going to take calipers apart or flush and put new brake fluid in, it is the only way to go IMO.  Smiley

Are you using the Mityvac that pumps the fluid up from the calipers?  Have heard it's better since air naturally rises.

The one I bought just attaches at the caliper and creates a vacuum and sucks the air and fluid out of the lines and the mastercylinder. Works like a charm!
