I got a call last night just as I was sitting down to dinner.  From my painter telling me that my bags were done, and that he wanted to bring them over.

 cooldude cooldude

Well, here they are.  I don't wanna talk about the painting bill.   Angry Shocked   :'(

I am pleased.

Honda.   Grin

It's a stock 2002 seat.

I had an Ultimate Big Boy briefly a few years ago... but sold it as it was only marginally better than my stock one... and I didn't like the studs and conchos.

I think I gave $50 for that thing YEARS ago.  I am sure glad I got it then... as I would NOT pay what they are getting for them now...  uglystupid2

I do too.

My bag hardware is a little tweaked... and need massaged a little.  And the bag latches and stuff need adjusted to make the lid margins right... blah blah blah.

But I am REAL happy with the paint.

That sure doesn't look stock.... looks like the back of the seat was scooped out.  Could be the angle I guess....  but it looks great.

Looks great  cooldude

I have mine that I purchased on even with the crack which I will probably be repairing myself as it's been 2 months and still no word from the seller or ups of what they will do. Would rather keep and repair then send back and start shopping again. Hope mine turn out as good as yours look.  coolsmiley

My painter said he'd be willing to do more.

Hopefully your paint would be cheaper than mine... That pearl white and pearl Coronado blue are TOUGH colors to match, and the flake in them was $$$.

Actually did a little plastic welding on a plastic saw horse that was split in 2 pieces and was pleased with the results. Easier then I thought. Will probably do the repair over the winter as the crack isn't preventing me from using them. Drilled small holes at the ends of cracks to keep from spreading til repaired. Again yours look GREAT! Great job Jabba! Having a blue and white myself if I ever get hard bags I like that paint scheme. I have seen another blue and white with that and it is sharp, very cool!
