I thought I would never get home.  The plan was simple enough, we left Cincinnati last night after the storm,(about 7:30) with the idea of riding a couple hours and then stopping for the night.  We rode 32 east to US33, which is were the problems started.  All of the gas stations were out of power along 32 in Ohio.  We finally found one with a line of cars.  When I finally filled up, the I/S took 6.669 Gallons.  Back on the road, US 33 was closed at the Ohio/WV state line, and all of the motels between 33 and Charleston were full or no power.  Finally got a room at 1:30.
Today, we left Charleston about 9, looking for gas. after riding around for an hour, we finally found a gas station with power, and got filled up.  Riding east on I64, no power, no food and no gas from just east of charleston all the way to Lexington, VA.  Another 6+ gallon fillup, a long lunch with lots of fluids, and then an hour and a half to home.  Three fill-ups deep into the reserve was a little too close for comfort.  Counting gas and food stops, and all the wasted time, detours, traffic, it took 14+ hours to  ride a little over 450 miles.
And did I mention it was HOT??????

Do I need to say "welcome to Ohio". Spring and summer are never boring.
