I always enjoy strolling through the old bikes. Very cool, thanks for posting.

I had a 76 GL1000 back in the day, with an after market seat making it much more comfortable. Had the removable kick start lever that stored in the left side tank panel. Had to use that kicker a time or too as well, a handy option for sure. The false tank was actually a storage area, and housed much of the wiring.

i used to restore the old gl-1000's and i also had one of them Montgomery Wards bikes,, care to guess which one that is?

How does 100+ translate to Ton (Tonne?) . . . .
