Dragons at San Jacinto.. angel

The Texas monument stands  570 feet tall  ..
This is the area where the Battle took place..
   I thought it was a good pix for July...
Texas independence from Mexico was April 21 and the month of ours is July 4th  angel....

It is a must to do when you are in the Pasadena/Houston area of Texas....
The view for the top is just WOW !!!
Very cool to ride around the battle field ,where Sam Houston lead his troops to capture
Santa Anna .. They caught him napping!!! cooldude

It has an Elevator !! .. And nice senior Lady runs it...
I would take the stairs ,but they are for emergency only  ???..
It is a must do...
The USS Texas Battleship is  just a few miles from San Jacinto...
Didn't have time to do that... But will the next time we are there...

And when you do San Jacinto.. Stop at the Monument Restaurant to eat .. Very good food...
