Today it was the humidity that got to me. I left home at 7.30 to go to a car show. A short spin after that and I was home at 12.30
My recent dash across America had me in 100f + for 7 of the eleven days. Very dry days and little discomfort.

the heat used to not bother me........but it's been harder the last 3-4 years....got heat exhaustion at work once a few years ago and was so sick, I had to lay in the floor at work for an hour after everyone else went home before I felt good enough to drive home.....I had used hedge shears(the ones on a long shaft) to trim almost all the job sites that needed it in high 90's heat......seems like the heat affects me more now...... As I get older, I actually enjoy the cold weather MUCH better......I ride my cart all around town even down into the "15-17deg" temps without putting the cover on it.....I can work all day in the mid 20's with just my T-shirt, thin long sleeve shirt, sweat shirt on top.......and long johns and pants......rarely wear a coat except on the 2 mile ride from our shop into and out of downtown......I see plenty of "headlights" during that time of year......

You had less "insulation" then. As I get older, I actually enjoy the cold weather MUCH better......I ride my cart all around town even down into the "15-17deg" temps without putting the cover on it.....I can work all day in the mid 20's with just my T-shirt, thin long sleeve shirt, sweat shirt on top.......and long johns and pants......rarely wear a coat except on the 2 mile ride from our shop into and out of downtown. And you have more insulation now. Marty

Just go ATGATT at less than 100 degrees. I usually give up the armored pants and switch to jeans and a light weight padded mesh jacket in the summer. Hoser Like this. 107 in SD last week.
