a v twin project i am working on

Well, i know we ride 6 bangers, but ehre has been a lot of talk here about dream bikes.sometime in the next 12 months a friend of mine and i will have one made.hand made.tank, fenders, battery box, chromoly frame, the works.he is even going to sandcast the engine.we have a place that can machine the crank throws and cam lobes and followers.it would be easier to use a 1100 shadow engine.I might still do that. But what about a v twin with one pipe on each side i.e. road king, valkyrie, shadow tourer, etc.saddlebags made of handtooled leathe rby a saddle maker.the same for the sprung seat.girder forks with springs up front, springs in the rear suspension.fuel injection, disc brakes,2 fender styles, one offered in flat black, and the other with expensive paint jobs.wire wheels of course, both the same size front and rear.About 60-70 hp, somewhere between 74-88 cu inches.no harley motor.ever seen a brough reproduction? Something like that only better looking and choice of forward or midmount controls.Sometime in probably next 8 months i hope to accomplish this and post pictures of it.What do ya'll think? And no, i aint never getting rid of my valkyrie.I almost did rectnly for a vulcan.good bikes, but i changed my mind.I would hate to give up the power.Plus its green and black, rare kinda.

Me too.Right now the ultimate powerplant is the topic of discussion.2 cylinders or 4,ohv,sidevalve,flathead,etc.I prefer 2 or 4 ohv.The body, tins, frame, suspension is already decided. Its exciting for me.
