A bad map and a long ride in Northern New Mexico!

I finally got around to finishing my CB project on the Valk.  A few weeks ago, I posted that I got lucky and ended up with a working Yamaha CB for about 40 bucks.   It was supposed to be a parts radio, but I couldn't find anything wrong with it.

I ordered the GL1200 antenna and the mount from Sierra.  I sawed off a few inches of the mount, cut the bottom off of mount, then dremeled out the notch for the helmet lock.   After I drilled the hole, I was pleased with the results.   Looks almost factory, and didn't take that long.

Now, I have something else to turn off when I am riding!!!

That was my weekend chore.  I have felt like crap this weekend, but was determined to get out and do something productive, even if it was on the bike!!
