Going for the solo look for a while and wondering what the thing is called that mounts in between the two little "arms"...I'm sure somebody knows...

And, is it still made?  If so, who has it?

Thanks.

The best ones were the ones that Lamont Bryden sold.  They were a thicker piece of metal and were shaped sorta like the top half of an octagon.  Lightfoot (my wife) has one on her bike.

The guy has to make the bar or have it made for him, then have it chromed (the one I got was first class chroming),supply the 4 nuts, package it and then pay for shipping from New Zealand to here and then make a few bucks to pay for the website, and a cut to PayPal. Then afew bucks to make it worth it to him to make parts for 8 year old plus bikes. Not bad for 75 bucks. Can you do it for less?

Ih
have one.  I am not ready to lose mine.

It is a convenient way to go back and forth from 2-up to solo.  But I think she looks A LOT better without it.  Just take the little "arms" off.  MUCH cleaner look IMO.

This...

vs this...

Hmm, never considered that.  You're right as far as looking cleaner.  Gonna have to think about that.

None of this has anything to do with what it's worth.
