Good luck. Personal experience here letting you know to stay clear of Sun Coast Cycle parts. The 97 final drive and shaft they may still have listed I had purchased. The splines are shot and the rear fluid poured out looking like liquid moly paste. The only thing good about the set up was the shaft and pinion cup looked brand new. We went thru the Paypal dispute to finally get my $350 back, cost me $25 to ship it back and I cleaned the rear splines out for them. Buyer beware.

After ten plus years since manufacture you would be very lucky to find a good useable rear drive that is not prohibitively expensive.
Anymore, the best alternative is to rebuild the one you already have on the bike.
Buying a worn out rear drive, if reasonable enough would be one way to allow for no down time. You could rebuild the purchased unit while at the same time, continue running the roads.
Used units are generally in the range of 150-250 bucks with all the internal parts still in good useable condition. Bearings and things like that!

IIFK it cost me about $600 for new seals, bearings, crown and pinion gears, final drive gear, o-rings and the thrust washer. most of that came from cheapcycleparts as I mentioned above. And no I am in no way affiliated with them, just a happy customer.

I need parts for my final drive also and I checked 6 or 7 different places comparing prices on the same part numbers. PartsPitStop.com was the cheapest of them all by several $. One thing to remember, some places will eat you up with shipping charges unless you get to THEIR dollar quota. Honda Direct I think is free shipping but they charge $7.50 for handling, and I think that's no matter how much or how little you buy. I'm getting my stuff from HDL. Till the 12th of July they have 10% off everything as long as you spend $100.
I am not affiliated with either, just trying to help.

The $7.50 handling charge at HDL goes away when your order totals $200 or more (after discounts).
