Katy Holmes marries a wealthy man who is an executive of his religous organization and NOW she wakes up and doesn't want her child raised in that faith?  Where's the thought process?  Poor kid.

Don't you know that, for many, thinking is a lost art.

While I could be wrong, I'm thinking her acting aspirations, his status, the money and hormones may have influenced her thought process.  Not saying I don't agree it was a bad decision but, she appears to have finally grown enough to fix that.

Although I like most of his movies, I sure as hell wouldn't want my daughter married to him.  My sister though, is fair game.  Wink  Given the opportunity, I'll introduce them.  Cheesy

She said in an interview that she dreamed as a child of marrying Tom Cruise.  She was probably just living out her childhood fantasy until reality set in.  Hell, when I was single I probably would have married Catherine Bach or Lynda Carter no questions asked. Grin

...thinking is a lost art.

Maybe it starts at age 33 for women...

Read an interesting fact about T Cruises marriages, all three of his wives were 33yrs old when they came to thier senses and divorced him.

I think that five or six years ago, they didn't have a precious child.

Now that they do, I guess the reality or possibility of sending that little five year old
off to boot camp to live (from now on?) is more than she can bear...
