I'm looking to install some helmet locks. I have the Kuryakyn grips and saw these advertised.

http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?Category_ID=112&manufacturer_ID=278&product_ID=13150&sblid_name=Kewl_Metal_Chrome_CNC_Billet_Helmet_Lock&model_id=0

Do any of you have this setup?  coolsmiley  If so, how do they install? I'm hoping that you do "NOT", have to remove the grips. If so, I'll look for something else.

It seems that the Kuryakyn grips have small screws on the end caps. If all you have to do is unscrew these to do the install, then there's no issue.

Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions.  cooldude

I have them.  All you have to do is remove the small screws on the end, and put these on.  No big deal.  Do NOT remove the grips.

I have them  as well. With the handlebars turned to the left, it does allow the  left side helmet to hit the tank.  Just giving you a bit of a heads up on that.

if you have more than one bike with Kury grips you can buy a set of two locks and then just have one key.  I have these on my RH Valk and RH Rocket grips.  Would also work well if your Wife has her own bike and you both use the same key.....

I have the Kury helmet lock.  Easy to install, just replace end on existing Kury grips.  You might want to check to see if your particular d rings will work with this lock.  Some d rings won't fit and you will have to use the extension.

+1 for kewl lock.  I have one and really like it.  It comes with a extension and makes it easier but the d ring on my bandit is tight but works.

This is what I have.  It comes with a lock.   Place the 'D' ring over the stud, place the lock just under the ball and presto, you is good to go look and play.

It replaces the clutch or brake lever bolt.
