in  locating the 30mm filler cap located on the final drive of an Interstate.I rounded the hex corners off trying to remove mine, Final got it out but need a replacement. Anyone who might have an extra sitting around not being used or idea where I might purchase one please forward info. Tkanks for any assistance.

Did the same thing. Go to Honda direct line or any vendor that has a Parts fliches and you can order a new one.

That part is as ubiquitous as a 6mmx1 threaded fastener. ALL of Honda's shaft-drive bikes use it...and the CB750 SOHC Fours used the part as a tappet cover.

Go to any swap meet and find dozens, almost free for the taking. I'm not kidding.

Pretty much what John said.  A buddy did the same thing and when he ordered his new one, the dealer told him there were 160+ applications for that part number  Shocked.
