Anyone have any experience with these LED replacements? They have a huge assortment. I want to take some of the load off of my trailer lights. But I want to maintain or increase the brightness.

It currently has 2 5007, 2 1157, and 2 1156 bulbs

They are good by my experiences.  I bought mine from another recommended source on this board at www.superbrightleds.com for less $.  They are a direct replacement.

Ride safe.

My question is which ones have people used with success? They have pages and pages of bulbs with varying amounts of LEDs

I get mine at Autozone.  Can't remember the brand.

I have a 30 LED 1157 taillight bulb. It's been in there for years. Don't remember how long and no problems.

The flat panel lights like described above from Custom Dynamics or Radiantz are good.  I did not have luck with those little bulb replacements that have 10 or 12 leds in, in the same round shape as a bulb... those were cheap and gave off less light than a standard bulb.  In daylight it was not bright enough at all.  A larger panel is needed.  The one in my tail light is from Custom Dynamics I believe, and works great.

Technology might have changed in the last few years tho.....  but when those little LEDs didn't work our for me, I used halogen bulbs... much brighter.  As for taking the load off the trailer.... hope you find some good LED's....  might want to check what the truckers use.

I have also seen 1156/7 led replacement bulbs that looked brighter at night but not in the sunlight.

And leds in turn signals require load equalizers or heavy duty electronic flashers.

I've got an electronic flasher, so load isn't an issue. I did that when I put the LEDS on the bike.

I tried some of the cluster led bulbs.

My experience with them was that they seemed bright enough......but only if you looked straight at them.

I've got clear turn signal lenses on my bike.....they simply didn't illuminate the turn signal lens if looked at from virtually any angle......only from viewing directly at them.

The whole point of using lights is to be seen, so I thought them more of a hazard since you can't see them from any side angle and took them out and put the regular yellow bulbs back in there.

The regular bulbs illuminate the entire lens and can be seen from any angle.
